March Madness is here and all of us here at Costa Verde is so excited to be celebrating while watching the games!  Not only is this time of the year great for basketball fanatics everywhere, but it’s also the ideal occasion to kick back, relax, and sip on fun beverages with your friends and family as you root on your favorite teams.  We’ve put together some great drinks that are all March Madness themed to make the games even more fun!

For all our bourbon fans, try The Shooting Guard!  A combo of bourbon, maple syrup, orange bitters, and a cherry for garnishing will make for a simple, classic cocktail that allows you to taste the quality of the bourbon.  Add in an orange rind and it’ll look like the basketball that’s being dribbled across the court!

If you’re more of a whiskey person, sip on a Slam Dunk while you watch your favorite players attempt the same on the big screen!  Whiskey, coke, cranberry juice, and a splash of lemon juice come together for a crisp and bright version of a whiskey sour.  The fresh juices make the flavors pop.

Finally, we’ve got the aptly named Front and Center.  This is more reminiscent of a Long Island Iced tea thanks to the mixture of white tequila, white rum, vodka, gin, triple sec, Coke, and lemon garnish.  Shaken over ice, this drink is perfect to celebrate a win or soften the blow of defeat.

Take your watch party a step further and rent our cocktail truck!  We have several different mobile food and beverage packages to choose from.  All our cocktail truck events last for 2.5 hours.  Our classic open bar package comes with vodka, gin, rum, coconut rum, tequila, mezcal, bourbon, and scotch for mixed drinks, a choice of 3 different beers and seltzers, and wine and bubbles!  You can enhance the package with draft beers, a margarita bar, a mojito bar, a frozen bar, a mimosa bar, a bloody Mary bar, and specialty cocktails for additional fees.
